Delivery Guide – Kid Mart is here to provide information and manage expectations for delivery of your purchase with us and rough outlines of transit times according to your shipping location.

Kids products are simply ordered, processed and shipped using an efficient process that keeps you in the loop along the way.

Delivery Guide – Kid Mart will keep you up to date with when you can expect your order.

  1. We receive your order and your funds and you receive an email confirmation.
  2. Delivery centres in Melbourne and Brisbane fulfil your order.
  3. The delivery centre packages label and arrange dispatch using several carriers, based upon delivery cost and taking the speed of service into consideration.
  4. We send you a tracking number to help you as you wait for your exciting delivery.
  5. The result is happy clients.

Should your order weigh less than 22kg, it will likely be sent using an Australia Post eParcel, which is their Internet empowered cargo framework.

Whether it is a small kids toy, décor for kids bedroom, or a piece of kids furniture, the smaller sized bundle will be encoded with your address label. You will be able to track the package and its conveyance towards delivery day using Australia Post’s online tracking system.

A consignment number is emailed to you as soon as your order has been packaged and shipped. You can utilize the number to follow your package at the Australia Post website

In the instance when your order weighs less than 22kg and the delivery cost is less than an Australia Post eParcel, the order containing kids toys, kids dĂ©cor or kids furniture will be sent using Aramex.  Kid Mart will send you an email confirmation of your order. Once packaged and dispatched you will get a tracking number.  Aramex has a large courier distribution network Australia wide.  They will ensure your parcel will arrive safely to your address.

Aramex collects parcels daily from our fulfilment centres. Aramex parcels feature a barcode with your address label to allow you to track the location of your order. It will proceed through any of the delivery centres in the Aramex network as it comes to you.  You can view the progress of your Aramex delivery using the Aramex website.

Unfortunately, as with all our courier delivery services, Aramex is unable to deliver to PO Boxes, a street address is required.  If a PO Box address is given, you will be contacted and we will request that you provide an accurate street address to ensure safe delivery.

If your order weight is greater than 22kg, we will send it with Allied Express.  The independently owned Australian courier company is the largest with centres located in all major mainland cities. 

Along with your delivery address, is a barcoded label that will give you the ability to track the order on its way to you using the Allied Express website.  When you are tracking your parcel using the Allied Express website, you will need to enter in your consignment note and the postcode of the destination. Track item at http://alliedexpress.com.au/ or call 13 13 73 if you need further information.

Some larger Kids products, such as kids furniture, such as a kids bed frame, a kids ride on car or outdoor play equipment may weigh a bit more. Heavier Kid Mart deliveries, where your kids products are less than 30kg, we may use Toll to get your order to you.  Toll is a major integrated logistics supplier that has a special focus within Australia. 

Parcels will be encoded with a Toll consignment number and barcoded address to give you the ability to view the progression of your Toll delivery. 

A street address is required for Toll’s delivery. If the correct information is not given, your parcel will be delayed until accurate information is received by the client service team at Kid Mart.

If no one is at the delivery address on the date of its arrival, a card will normally be left in your letterbox or a safe place with instructions on how to access your parcel.  The Toll website gives you the choice of arranging an alternate date of re-delivery.

Failed Deliveries from Kid Mart

It is uncommon, but there can be instances where your parcel has been sent back to Kid Mart.  When this happens, our client service team will contact you via email to discuss courses of action.  On the account of failure to collect your parcel, a redelivery fee will be charged.

When you Provide an Incorrect address to Kid Mart

Kid Mart accepts no responsibility on the off chance that you have provided the incorrect delivery details; please ensure you enter your correct contact information on your order.  Re-delivery fees will apply for any item that comes back to us.

Failed Delivery Attempt

At the event that no one is available to receive your Australia Post package, a card advising you of a collection point will be left in your letterbox.  If the package is with Allied Express, a card will also be left for you. This offers you options and instructions mapped out for you to arrange redelivery.  Please note, these are all time-sensitive. If not collected in a timely manner, will be returned to us which will incur re-delivery fees. Additional, re-delivery fees will apply if a second delivery attempt fails.

Rejection by Receiver

Kid Mart is the best place for gifts for kids of all ages.  If your order is a gift, going directly to the receiver, please let them know it is coming to prevent confusion and possible parcel rejection. A re-delivery cost would be charged if the kids gift has to be resent.

Timing of Deliveries

Timing of deliveries will be different according to your locality and distance from the fulfilment centre used. Kid Mart has no power over the scheduling and arrival times of deliveries once your package has left and is en-route to you.  Timing of delivery is estimated by each carrier as a general parameter only. Conveying your kid’s products to you may take longer. Or you may be pleasantly surprised to discover that delivery arrives significantly faster than estimated.  Timing can be dependent on a number of external variables that even carriers have no control over. 

However, if you don’t have your Kid Mart order in your possession within ten business days, please contact the carrier your order is travelling with. Quote your tracking information and they will be able to assist you. 

Personal collection or arranging your own courier is not possible at our warehouses as there are OH&S considerations and also to ensure the most efficient packaging and dispatch times are adhered to.

How Long until my Kid Mart Order Arrives?

The estimated delivery time frames are:

Kid Mart clients from VIC, approximately 4 – 7 working days;

Kid Mart clients from NSW, SA, ACT, approximately 5 – 9 working days;

Kid Mart clients from QLD, NT, WA and TAS, approximately 7 – 14 working days.

NOTE:

Delivery time only begins after payments are received and have been cleared and the item has been sent from our Kids distribution centre (generally 1 business day after cleared payment has been received).

A specific delivery date or time cannot be guaranteed as our delivery partners are unable to be certain of the delivery date either.  Delivery times rely on everything from the time of year, weather conditions, the volume of deliveries and even mechanical issues.  That said, our carriers do their best to ensure safe and efficient delivery within reasonable timeframes.

Undeliverable Postcodes

While our carriers service most of the country, there is limited access in some rural areas making the delivery for larger items impossible.  Please refer to the table for details.

Kid Mart has done our best to ensure all undeliverable postcodes are listed. For some larger Kid Mart kids furniture or outdoor play equipment, postcodes may have been missed.  Orders that cannot be fulfilled due to the remote location will be cancelled and automatically refunded. In some cases there may be the possibility of delivery with additional delivery fees.  Our kids’ client service team will contact you via email to discuss.
